5. Sitalsasthi: It is celebrated to observe the marriage of god Shiva and Parvati. One of the devotees acts as the parent of Shiva and another devotee acts as the parent of Parvati and a marriage ceremony of the deities in which the locality is invited, is done. The whole locality contributes financially to make this happen.

There are also Jatras or fairs such as Bali Jatra and DhanuJatra celebrated in the state of Odisha that beautifully add to the various colors the state has to offer.
