Ollywood for the first time will see an Odia song being exclusively shot in Dubai. Actors Archita and Buddhaditya on Tuesday left for the popular destination to shoot a song ‘Ajana Aei Sahara’ for their upcoming flick, Bye Bye Dubai.
Actor Sabyasachi will join the team on July 15. The high-budget film, produced by Askhay Kumar Parija, is being directed by Basanta Sahoo.
The song which is catchy, romantic number will be shot in the city that is synonymous with luxury, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. While music rights of the film has been acquired by Amara Muzik, its music has been composed by Bikash Das.
Upbeat about the film, Archita said she is confident that the song would turn out well. “The lyrics of the song are good and with it being shot in Dubai, I am sure it will be a hit among fans of Odia music,” she said.
Buddhaditya, similarly, said maker of the film Mr Akshay Ku Parija is not leaving any stone unturned to give quality cinema to the audience. “The song Ajana Aei Sahara will be another effort in this direction,” he said, adding that look and the feel of the song will be international.
Besides Archita and Buddhaditya, the crew of the movie comprising cameramen Sashi Kumar and Sai Kant, choreographer Swarnalatha, make-up artist Satya Patra, costume designer Koti and camera assistant Saroj Kumar Mohanty are travelling to Dubai for the song sequence. Apart from this song, the movie has several more surprises for the audience.
