As per the instruction of Maa Mangala the location of Daru ( Neem Tree) for Lord Balabhadra with the desired symbols were identified near the temple of Goddess Sarala at Jhankada in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district today.
After being briefed by the Banajaga dalapati (team leader) Haladhara Dasmohapatra last night the Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) made a formal announcement this morning.
The location for construction of Sabarapalli where the Banajaga yatris will be staying is finalised and the contruction of Yajna Peetha near the daru for rituals to be performed has already begun.
The remaining Banajaga yatris along with the Stotriya Brahmins and Biswabasu are expected to arrive from Gadakuntunia by19th or 20th of April to perform the rituals. A two-way iron barricading has been constructed for the protection of the daru, so that the devotees can have the smooth darshan.
