Sun Temple of Konark came alive on the walls of the 13th century temple through the much-awaited light and sound show.
Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the 35-minute animated show for tourists in three different languages, which they can enjoy through customised headphones to check noise pollution at the UNESCO Heritage site.
“The light and sound show at the Sun Temple of Konark is a milestone for the tourism industry of Odisha,” said Naveen.
Executed by the Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) at the cost of Rs 5.5 crore, the light and sound show will have two shows every day for 250 audiences at a time.
