Odia doctor Sudeep Satpathy selected as Sports Medicine Doctor for Rio Olympics

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Dr Sudeep Satpathy, Associate Professor of Physiology in has been selected as sports medicine doctor for 2016 Rio Olympics.

He is the first doctor from Odisha to join the Olympics.

Satpathy has been selected by the Olympic authorities on the basis of his performance and experience in the field of sports medicine.

Dr Satpathy is also a member of the prestigious faculty of sports and exercise medicine, Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians in Ireland.
