Sudarsan Pattnaik created sand sculpture of konark temple at London

International sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik, created sand sculpture of konark (the Sun temple) in the closing ceremony of World Travel Market in London at Odisha Tourism pavilion.

Lot of visitors attract Pattnaik’s sand sculpture in Odisha pavilion. Patnaik used 40 bags of sand for this sculpture. Pattnaik accompanied with Odisha Tourism delegation Led by Minister Tourism and Culture sri Ashok Ch Panda in World Travel Market in London.

Konark Sun Temple, commonly known as Konark is situated in the eastern state of Odisha. Sun Temple of Konark, built in the middle of 13th century, is a massive conception of artistic magnificence and engineering dexterity. Konark Temple built this temple, with the help of 1200 artisans within a period of 12 years, gorgeously decorated chariot mounted on 24 wheels , each about 10 feet in diameter, and drawn by 7 mighty horses.

Sudarsan is a Padmashri awardee sand Artist and participated in many International Sand Art championships and festivals around the world and won many prizes for our country.
