Bhubaneswar will soon have sensor traffic management system

Increasing traffic flow, the Smart City Bhubaneswar will soon have a traffic management system based on sensor data.

The traffic density at respective intersections could be controlled by video-based inputs captured and transmitted to a central server and vice-versa.

The central command control centre will be monitoring the traffic flow and accordingly, with appropriate computational analysis, will direct the traffic inflow dynamics through the signal points.

The latest IT-based tool in traffic management by adopting the CoSi CoSt Technology, named after Adaptive Traffic Control System so that the traffic signalling cycles or time allowed to complete the traffic flow at a given intersection, at a particular time, would be efficiently and effortlessly managed in near future.
